Air source heat pump or air source heating system is an energy-saving device which can make heat flow from low heat source (air) to high heat source by taking use of the high heat source. It is a form of heat pump. 1. Different Condenser
Air source heat pump water heater or air source heating system uses tube and shell heat exchanger or tube in tube heat exchanger which is made by copper tubes, while swimming pool air source heat pump is made by pure titanium heat exchanger that is good at preventing chloride corrosion. This is because swimming pools are usually sterilized with chlorine, which reacts with copper, and titanium tubes are highly corrosive to chlorides, sulfides and ammonia.
2. Water Temperature
Air source heat pump water heater generally makes water up to 55℃, while swimming pool only needs 27~31℃ water. And because the casing normally used is PVC, the highest water temperature is limited to around 40℃. If for spa pool that needs water temperature up to 45~55℃, there is another type of titanium heat exchanger using PPR casing.
